Hélène Lê, Counselling therapist

Hélène Lê, a Vietnamese-born Quebecker, is a Counselling Therapist in Quebec. She is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University in Ottawa. Having worked in the field of music for a number of years, Hélène defended her thesis research, which focused on an analysis of the narrative discourse of university students who had experienced anxiety in the context of musical performance. She has worked as a school-based psychotherapist with adolescents with addictions and concurrent disorders in Ontario. Over the course of her academic and professional career, Hélène has developed a wide range of skills in working with different clinical populations, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, bereavement, existential issues, spirituality, relational conflicts, emotion management, substance dependency, cyberaddiction and more.

Hélène offers individual therapy for adolescents and adults at Y2 Consulting Psychologists.

What's important in her clinical work is the therapeutic alliance, the safe, non-judgmental space in which to work and explore tools adapted to her clients' needs. She strongly believes that every person has the unconditional right to be listened to in their suffering. Her therapeutic interests are mainly psychodynamic, CBT, humanistic-existential, experiential gestalt and creative/musical art. Hélène will give you a warm welcome.
