Biography

Dr. Nada Najjar holds a Doctorate in Psychology with specializations in school and university psychology, as well as in perinatal and developmental psychology. Her training has provided her with extensive expertise in parenting, intergenerational transmission, pregnancy and birth, postpartum challenges, early parent-infant interactions, parenting skills, and adapting to the new role of parent.

She also has experience in Cognitive Remediation Therapy, providing support aimed at optimizing cognitive functioning and emotional regulation for a diverse clientele.

Dr. Najjar offers psychological assessment, support, and counseling services to parents, families, and individuals facing adaptive or relational challenges, with particular experience working with newcomers and immigrants to Canada.

She supports individuals dealing with existential questions, worries, interpersonal problem-solving—whether in couples or family contexts—as well as in self-assertion, emotion regulation, and the management of anxiety disorders.
