Ms. Rose Quinn, M.A., Counselling therapist

Sexologist, Counselling therapist

Biography

Biography

Member of the Ordre professionnel des sexologues du Québec, she holds the title of sexologist. She has provided counseling in sexology as an intervention worker with adolescents, addressing a variety of issues related to sexuality, relationships, and identity. She holds two bachelor’s degrees: one in Human Relations and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, and another in Sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

She is currently completing her final year of a Master’s in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University, where she is a psychotherapy intern at the university clinic. At the same time, she continues her clinical development at Y2 Consulting Psychologists, where she works with adult and older adult clients in a respectful, compassionate, and inclusive environment.

Her clinical and research interests focus primarily on supporting individuals who have experienced sexual violence, which is also the subject of her master’s thesis. Her practice is also rooted in a feminist perspective, attentive to issues of power, gender, and equity.

She favors an integrative, person-centered approach that combines several therapeutic orientations: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), psychodynamic therapy, and existential-humanistic therapy. Her work is grounded in empathy, respect, and active listening, and is guided by a commitment to fostering growth, meaning, and autonomy.
